This special bag made by artisan Juan Mendoza in Santa María Ixcatlan, Oaxaca has been made with the traditional and ancestral technique of “Nudo Mixteco” only done in this region. Knot by knot the artisan weaves the humid palm to bring this beautiful and characteristic finish. This bag with its leather strap can be used to carry your supplies, food and plates for an improvised picnic at the park, as a beautiful planter in your house, or as a Christmas Gift.
To care for your basket, simply wipe clean with a fairly moist cloth and dry completely. Avoid chlorine and harsh cleaners.
